Project Overview

Electro Optic Systems (EOS) partnered with Aurora Office Furniture to design and deliver a functional and scalable furniture solution for their Symonston office. The brief focused on creating an efficient, ergonomic workspace that supports a technical and high-performance team, with a strong emphasis on sit-stand capability, acoustic comfort, and integrated power while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic.


Our Approach

Aurora worked closely with the EOS team to understand operational requirements, workstation densities, and future flexibility needs.

Using the supplied plans and project information, our team developed a coordinated furniture layout that prioritised ergonomics, clear circulation, and effective cable management.

Throughout the process, Aurora provided detailed product specifications, coordinated power and softwiring requirements, and managed all logistics to ensure a smooth transition from approval to installation.


The Solution

Aurora supplied and installed a tailored package of commercial furniture solutions, including:

  • Ultra Sit-Stand Back-to-Back Workstations

  • Ultra Sit-Stand Rectangle Desks with integrated cable trays

  • Euro Acoustic Desk-Hung Screens (left and right return configurations)

  • Integrated softwiring systems including GPOs, interconnecting cables, cable baskets, and splitters

  • Professional delivery, assembly, and on-site installation services

This solution ensures each workstation supports ergonomic movement, reduces visual and acoustic distractions, and provides seamless access to power and data.


Outcome

The completed workspace delivers a clean, efficient, and highly functional environment aligned with EOS’s technical and professional culture. The sit-stand workstations and acoustic elements enhance comfort and productivity, while the integrated power infrastructure supports day-to-day operational demands.
